Children can show change

 Adults believe that children will not do as much as adults can do to change the world; however age doesn't matter when children have the confidence to fight for change. There are a lot of children just like adults who had shown change and confidence when fighting for change.

 Felix Finkbeiner was one of the brave boy with confidence who fought against our environment sharing his idea called "Plant for the Planet". He fought against working with our nature and to make out planet in a better environment. He showed people how children can also start the change. He said in his speech that we children understand and know that adults know better but he doesn't understand why they won't perform or practice the action for these crisis such as making a better world and standing up. I agree with him even though children might not have as much confidence that adults have they can do better in trusting and believing in what they are doing. Children believes strongly in their own faith unlike adults. Their determination allows them not to hesitate with choices they have made. As Felix Finkbeiner showed how children can also make a change, there are more youths who made a great difference to the world.

 Nkosi Johnson was also the one who fought against the world for HIV aids. He spoke for the mothers and children who had HIV aids. He won a noble peace price for helping and speaking for the HIV aid. People looking at him had the courage to fight against their illness and Nkosi Johnson told people how people should treat HIV aid patients just like all the others. Even though Nkosi was young he stood up and talked about how HIV aids people should be treated the same like all the others. He was a child but people agreed with him and gave attention to what he was talking about. He had confidence and pride for standing up. He said, " Care for us and accept us - we are all human beings. We are normal. We have hands. We have feet. We can walk, we can talk, we have needs just like everyone else - don't be afraid of us - we are all the same" -Nkosi-

Like these children, even though they were young they had the confidence where they spoke and stood up in front of their society telling and noticing how the world is going and what changes that they can made. Not just an adult but with the children's innocent heart and strong faith they can also stand and fight against the righteousness of our world.

 When life throws challenges at you, you must fight back and William Wessesman was one of the young man who found his own ways of fighting against his disabilities. Also Muhhamad Ali a boxing champion fights against his parkinson's disease to maintain and keep his life stable. Wiiliam and Muhamad Ali fought for achieving their goals and how their quality of life is the same as others.

 Even though William Wessesman had learning disabilities he tried to figure out a way to learn like all the others. He also believed in himself what he can do. William always bring around a rubik's cube with him and he said," Think how you hold the rubik's cube and you just don't know what to do so you start and break up pieces and start again form the beginning that is what I do with learning." William always believed in himself and actually start from the beginning of learning. He went to the school that all the others go and he trusted that he can do it. William was one of the boys who achieved his goals and he fought his disabilities of learning a different way but catching up with all the others and goes to normal high school. The rubik's cube did help him a lot by using and playing around with the cube he found his  hidden strength and intelligence of himself. Like fighting against his disabilities Muhammad Ali also fought for his disabilities of perkinson's disease.

 Muhammad Ali had perkinson's disease which caused him to be difficult with speaking and walking or communicating. Even though he has disabilities he try to live his life of before when he was a great boxing champion. He had a lot of risks of speaking and being uncomfortable of even walking but he tries to figure out a way of being like all the others. From his confidence of fighting against his disabilities he was able to get control over his nerve systems and also the small shocks he had. He defeats himself and be able to keep his life until now. He believed in himself and successed his life challenges on the other hand I also had times when challenges blocked me.

 My life greatest challenges was conflicts between my family. I also had fears and stress with school life such as issues occuring between friends and also the problems happening with my academic grades. Since my mother has a lot of work that she has to finish with her academy she always get sensitive and usually gets mad at us well. Also since my sister is in a age of adolescence and she also gets sensitive so when ever I have problems or life questioning I want to listen for solution and my family consoling me but I don't expect to get any of those so when I go to school I get stressed of being responsible with my grades and when I come home I also get stress. Since I am not a really hard working student I have difficulties with my learning styles such as learning fast or finishing my homework on time. I try to figure  out my own ways of releasing my stress and that is when I go shopping or piercing my ears which seems wrong but I want my family to at least to trust or believe me that I can show improvements and how I will show them my improvement. I want to believe my self so that I can do it. Also my sister is in the same math class as me which is really embarassing and friends tease and think me as a looser but I want to tell them it is that my sister is good and it is not something wrong for my sister to be in the same class. I also always showed my parent how always the grade I got was better than my sister. I would fight for the challenges I face a lot these days and I hope that it will all go right when I believe myself.

 As shown above William and Muhammad both had life challenges and disabilities but they believed in themselves and chose their own way to be normal and to live like all the others. "If you want to be successful, it's just this simple. Know what you are doing. Love what you are doing. And believe in what you are doing." said above just trust and know what you are doing and you will always turn out to be successful. William had learning disabilities but he was able to go to regular high school. Muhammad Ali also had perkinson's disease but he was able to fight back his nerve systems and to be able to keep his way of living like how he lived before.

Makeup on animals?

 

When I was young, makeup looked like a magic tool that fairies would use to change their appearance into princesses. I use makeup since it makes me pretty, but I read in the newspaper that makeup, medicine, and scientific chemicals were tested on animals.Every time you pick up that makeup brush, animals have to suffer. Animals are special and important creatures that God made and I think using animals to test products is wrong.

Animals testing is one of the most greatest issue in our world now. Animals get tested on cosmetics and other scientific experiments. They usually tested on animals such as rabbits, rats and hamsters. How they test on animals are based on research they drop the cosmetics such as blusher, and other creams on their wet body places such as their eyes, nose and mouth. They usually take an observation if the chemical cosmetics would infect the eyes because of allergy or any sort of reaction these animals show. They test it on animals then choose to actually sell it. But because of the testing, millions and millions animals die and suffer. These testing is extremely bad especially for rabbits because they are sensitive in a lot of chemicals. These rabbits who get tested break their neck or their back to escape from this painful testing. Also they connect the test tube or spray containing medical or house cosmetics to the animals to test them until they die. Not only they get tested but the company also cause the animals to die from the failure of the test. These testing not only cause the animals to get harmed but also damage their body features such as getting infected and causing viruses. However, not all the companies test on animal these days.

 Since the truth and the damage on animals was proved. A lot of companies such as Avon, Bodyshop and Mary Kary started to stop animal testing. Since they don’t test on animals they make products used with non- toxic chemicals such as natural sources to also ensure and proof that their method ensures their product’s safety.  However still a lot of companies such as Loreal disagrees with this statement. Stating that animal testing claims that the product and ingredients are safe toward the consumers. On the other hand FDA( food and drugs administration) didn’t allow animal testing on cosmetics. Also if the company and these scientists have information of human structure why can’t they use the information given rather making the animals suffer. There are actually ways and steps people go through to stop animal testing. They don’t but products from companies that still animal tests and also supporting or encouraging companies which they don’t test on animals. Telling others or making donations to save them from animal testing which also relates to the decrease of animal’s population.

Animal testing gives us safe products that we can trust but actually goes through the suffer of animals. We should think before we consume the products. Animal’s pain comes within the benefits of cosmetics.

Fighting for Animal Rights

A dog locked in a cage, desperately wanting freedom and food. This dog is trapped in a cage that once was loved and given adorable treats by it's owners. But some owners have a change,

some people lock the dog or a puppy in a cage and to cook them into a dog soup called " Bo Shin Tang". People in asian countries eat dogs in soup. People in Canada kill the white baby seal for their fur. But do you even know the way they kill these poor innocent animals? They just throw them when they have their needs. Also people think that animals are toys, steel hearted creatures and machine.

  I actually love animals and the first reason that I want to fight for animals is that people these days hurts animals for fun. They actually hit, smack and kick them and just love to hear their suffering noises that they would even just throw them outside the window. Animals have hearts and expressions. They suffer and also have impressions. When you cry they will cry with you. If you are in danger they would try to help you. When I look back at the past days I realize that the first time I bought my dog I was so happy that I would just scream when there were a lot of people. On the other hand since the dog was with me for over 7years I started to realize that I was lazy about caring and also how I would ignore the greetings of my dog. I was lazy and I would just not care or hugg it ever. Soon I realized I really felt sorry and after that I always took care for it. There are people also like me who would buy puppies because they are cute, lovely and adorable but later they actually is not caring anymore and also they just throw them alone somewhere in the middle of the road because they get bored of the puppy. But wouldn't these pets suffer from food and water and shelter. They will just stand there looking around while time is passing and while everything is changing. It will just sit there and later dying there waiting for their owner to come back. Even though you forgot about them they would never. Why? because they are loved ones. I would fight for their rights stopping animal cruelty and people treating them as toys. Using them for their own good. Pet are there for us to have a friend and also to love each other like being a part of our family.

  I would also fight for animal rights because there are people in this world who use them for money. In
Canada they catch baby seals for the fur. In Korea and China they hunt and capture dogs for food! Can you even imagine how they would kill these innocent animals. They would just peal there fur and throw the rest away, they would kill and hit them with a rock near there head so that it can stay in the best quality. They are actually selling them. These days animals we saw just a few years ago is getting endangered and getting extinct. I would help and support animals because there are a lot of reasons why God made them as a living creature and why they are still in our ecosystem. They have a family a home and their friends. They are like us and it is that people treat them as stupid creatures that cannot talk. Their language is different form us. Animals are living heart beating creatures that breathe each hour we breathe and its that they are dying and getting hurt every minute while we would be in the house resting, at school learning, and even why we are spending a good time with our family they would be suffering. Animals should be protected.

 My dream is actually being a fashion designer but if I can just be as much famous I can I will make a big charity for animal rights. I would build a special place for suffering and animals that needs support. I believe that animals are going to be fine and that they would someday never be disturbed by cruel humans who is doing animal cruelty and people who would ignore there saying and their hope. Think of a animal running away from the human, reaching for help but no body looking at it.

If I were given a chance to create a 'New World' I would hope for peace. Peace defines having freedom from disturbance and controls, to have a calm mind, having no more worries or any fear against something. I hope for peace to make a better world to not regret anymore.

Peace is important because peace makes things organized to a better place. I hope for a peace for the world's life, family and friends. The word peace breaks the words such as someone getting controlled. I think since we were given a New World that we should make it peaceful. To let the people never be concerned about wars and fights. People these days wait for peace. Just waiting and believing that peace will soon come. But it won't because the world is getting blinder of thier possesion and to controll over people, the land, the whole universe maybe. But this won't help the whole world to develop and while just creating wars the world should communicate and cooperate effectively. To think of any better ideas of how peace can be way much better than we waiting for peace to come. On the other hand since I was given to create a new world I would want peace. Peace links to everything. Having peace means that you are getting free from the disgusting controllers and to have freedom it means that the world will be equal and also since they don't get any controlls the society will be better to make the world develop since there is no one who is bothering from making rules or anything like stopping and disagreeing and also to rebell against.

I hope for peace for my new world. I hope the word peace breaks the rules that ruins people's right and also peace will let the community be more organized. I hope for peace to stop animal cruelty, racism and bullying. Peace will let people feel safe and wouldn't have to make someone feel bad in order to make themselves better, richer, or to have controll of something. I hope for peace to create a better society because we are given a New World. New World also means that you want to start all over to get everything done and to get rid of than starting all over agian. Having peace will let everything start from the top of where everything was peacful and fine.

I hope for peace to let the New World fit perfect for the society and to also let things go back to normal and peacful where they didn't have war and getting their eyes blind by the land, money, possesion, and control. To make people feel free and equal. To be fair to everyone.

The Heaven Shop

This book was an enjoyable book. The way it tells a story was interesting also the story of Binti's life was an sad story. This is an important book because it really am showing how families in LEDC's live.

Paper Bag

I think it will be fun to make paper bags. But since 10bags cost 1rupee it will be hard to earn enough money to send for your families.

Global issues class is an interesting subject. You learn more about other countries and will be surprised a lot sometimes because there are some interesting things that you live and have. But sometimes it can be a sad subject. You will understand the way how non developed countries live.

Today was a peace day so we had an event about peace. Our events made people enjoy peace day and to know more about peace day. During lunch time at September 21 we celebrated peace with everyone.

For peace day we did peace sign face paintings, photos, games and we sold cookies and bracelets to collect money and to donate them to make T-shirts for marathon. A lot of students and teachers came in to participate in one of our events in peace day. For face painting we drew peace signs and hearts on faces. We took photos of students and teachers having peace sign on their face and making peace sign. During the event people were having face paintings, they were buying cookies and also they were writing commitments. Students in Global Issues were drawing pictures on people face, we were taking photos that shows peace day and we were also selling cookies. The classroom smelled like peace and peace cookies. The room was noisy but it was filled with love. I think we successed.

From this activity I learned more about peace and to know better how peace day was created.
